Our Company...

Farmlay Eggs is an independant, family company with a proud tradition of producing, packing and distributing fresh Scottish eggs since 1946.

From a foundation of just 1,000 birds, Farmlay Eggs is now run by husband and wife team Robert and Ethel Chapman along with their children Jennifer and Iain and has 35 employees. The family have made radical changes to their operations since Roberts father, Peter, first began producing eggs and now approximately 2 million eggs per week pass through our main packing centre in Strichen, Aberdeenshire.

From production through to distribution, Farmlay have cultivated a wealth of specialist skills and services to meet todays demanding market priorities. Continual investment in all activities ensures the heritage and reputation of Farmlay Eggs are in the safe hands of the Chapman family.
