Members of Strichen Junior Agriculture Club made their way over to farmlay last night for a tour of our facilities and to see what it takes to put 6 eggs on a supermarket shelf.

The tour gave the youngsters a chance to ask questions about the egg industry and see how our continued investment in technology has made our production more efficient.

Yes, that's right, our very own Robert Chapman (pictured right), Managing Director of farmlay eggs has been voted the Grampian Food & Drink Entrepreneur at the Grampian Food Forums 2013 innovation awards.

Robert was amidst stiff competition as the judges looked at more than 60 entries from 32 companies but chose Robert as their winner.
